Blair upper cervical technique is amongst the safest in the chiropractic field. There is no twisting or rotation of the neck and the force is very specific. The adjustment is around 10 square foot pounds of pressure. The drop table mechanism allows the force to be amplified without the need to apply excessive force.

This is the quickest way to ruin an adjustment. We must first understand what's happening. When you twist you own neck or back in order to get the desired relief from a pop, what happens is that the bone that ends up moving is the one that is already hyper-mobile.
